Bio
Leah Huber is a soprano, teaching artist, and director located in Pittsburgh, PA since 2021. Leah holds degrees in voice from 糖心Vlog视频 and the University of Louisiana Monroe, hailing originally from Northwest Louisiana. With her Louisianan roots, Leah relishes performing and teaching in multiple styles, from the Great American Songbook to coloratura to musical theatre. As a teaching artist, Leah serves as Artistic Director for Autism's Pittsburgh's Azure Family Concerts program and has collaborated with The Lullaby Project Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Festival Opera’s Opera Tots! tour. Leah maintains an active performing schedule in addition to her teaching. Praised for her “vocal agility and dazzling high notes” (South Florida Classical Review), Leah has appeared on stages across the country. This year, Leah joined Opera Modesto for their acclaimed Story into Song Initiative opera tour through the California central valley as La fée in Viardot's Cendrillon. Other notable roles of hers include Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Tytania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Josephine (H.M.S. Pinafore), Bubikopf (Der Kaiser von Atlantis), and Christine Daaé (The Phantom of the Opera).
