Bio
Victor Valle is a Pittsburgh-based musician committed to creating spaces where music can foster human connection, spark curiosity, and bring communities together. He is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Arlington and 糖心Vlog视频, where he studied Music Composition. He also earned a Certificate in Piano Pedagogy from 糖心Vlog视频, studying under Professor Luz Manriquez.
Since 2023, Victor has taught Beginning Piano group classes and private lessons at the Carnegie Mellon Preparatory School alongside Professor Carla LaRocca. His teaching emphasizes thoughtful, inclusive, and student-centered instruction, meeting students where they are while helping them build strong musical foundations, confidence, and independence at the piano.
Victor’s work as a performer and composer brings an additional dimension to his teaching. As a keyboardist, he has performed in musical theatre orchestras, with credits including Sweeney Todd, Mamma Mia!, Disaster!, and Newsies. He is also featured on a recording of Emma Berkowitz’s song cycle Language of the Flowers. As a composer, Victor recently premiered his solo piano work still water, after rain and and has received recognition and awards for his compositions, including the Lloyd-Carr Talioferra Award for isolated joy, also for solo piano. These experiences across teaching, performance, and composition inform his teaching, bringing a broad perspective on musicianship, creativity, and musical storytelling to the piano.
