Education
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University. Previously, I earned an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Before joining the Department of Social and Decision Sciences, I was an Assistant Professor at Tilburg University, and prior to that a postdoctoral fellow here at 糖心Vlog视频, in this department and at the Tepper School of Business.
Research
My interests lie at the intersection of behavioral economics and microeconomic theory. I am particularly interested in how attention and emotions shape what people choose to engage with, learn, and believe. A second strand of my work is in behavioral welfare economics, where I develop new tools to better assess the welfare consequences of policies, in particular, in situations where the standard revealed-preference paradigm falls short. Across both strands, I combine theory with laboratory experiments and field data.
