TOEFL Information
TOEFL/IELTS/DuoLingo scores must be within the valid period (2 years)
TOEFL/IELTS/DuoLingo requirements:
- The minimum required TOEFL score is 86 total. The minimum sub-score guidelines are: Reading 22, Listening 22, Speaking 20, Writing 22.
*BME does not accept TOEFL MyBest Scores. Applicants must meet the minimum total and section score requirements from a single TOEFL test date. - The minimum acceptable IELTS band score is 7.0.
*BME does not accept IELTS One Skill Retake (OSR) scores. Applicants must submit scores from a complete IELTS test taken in a single test session. - The minimum required DuoLingo score is 105 total. The minimum sub-score guidelines are: Literacy 105, Comprehension 115, Production 70, Conversation 96 (Important: the overall score is NOT a total of the subscores but rather the product of an algorithm)
If a student previously obtained a degree at a U.S. institution, student may submit an old version of the TOEFL/IELTS/ DuoLingo scores.
