My career achievements share one thing in common: making creative endeavors happen. Whether I’m producing a TV show or consulting on a film about to go into production, I excel at developing projects to their fullest potential. Here are some highlights:
The Lost Room
I co-created, wrote and produced this TV show for the SyFy Channel and Lionsgate Television. It was nominated for two Emmys and a Writers Guild Award, with the New York Times calling it “…a jackpot for a mystery series.”
THE FABELMANS
I consulted on multiple drafts of the script for this 2022 Steven Spielberg film, which was nominated for 7 Academy Awards, including Best Screenplay.
THE IRON GIANT
I was the executive in charge of this film at Warner Bros. Feature Animation. It has received near universal acclaim from fans and critics alike.
Throughout my career, what has brought me the most joy is mentorship. I excel at providing individualized feedback, I have the patience and willingness to meet novices where they are, and I can explain complex aspects of the entertainment industry in natural and intuitive ways. I find it very rewarding to guide future generations to make their marks in an industry I know and love.
For this reason, I’m in the process of launching a Semester in Hollywood Program, crafted around an internship as its cornerstone. The goal of the program is to provide students with the kind of experiential, real-world learning they can only get on the job, under the tutelage of industry professionals. Ultimately, the program will provide students with opportunities to practice the theories, concepts and strategies learned in the classroom while gaining the crucial experience they will need to land their first jobs in the entertainment industry post-graduation.
