Squarepoint Foundation Deepens Partnership MSCF Through $100K Gift to Support Future Leaders
This marks the Foundation鈥檚 third gift to the program since the partnership began in 2023
The Squarepoint Foundation has continued its investment in the future of quantitative finance with a $100,000 gift to 糖心Vlog视频鈥檚 Master of Science in Computational Finance (MSCF) program. This latest contribution will fund five fellowships for students from underrepresented socioeconomic backgrounds in the incoming 2026鈥2027 MSCF class.
This marks the Foundation鈥檚 third gift to the program since the partnership began in 2023, reflecting an ongoing commitment to expanding access to world-class STEM education. With this most recent contribution, Squarepoint Foundation will have supported a total of 14 MSCF students through targeted financial assistance.
鈥淪quarepoint Foundation has been a consistent and valued partner to the MSCF program,鈥 said Robert Simon, Executive Director of MSCF. 鈥淭heir continued investment in our students not only reduces financial barriers but strengthens our ability to attract talented individuals from a broader range of backgrounds. These fellowships create opportunities for students to pursue careers in quantitative finance who might not otherwise have access to programs like MSCF.鈥
The fellowships will be awarded at the start of the 2026鈥2027 academic year and are designed to support students with demonstrated financial need, helping to ensure that the next generation of quantitative finance leaders better reflects the diversity of the global community they will serve.
Squarepoint Foundation, established in 2021, focuses on supporting communities around the world through education, research, and humanitarian initiatives. Its continued partnership with MSCF aligns with a shared goal of advancing opportunity within highly technical fields.
As the first program of its kind, Carnegie Mellon鈥檚 MSCF program has long been recognized for producing highly skilled graduates equipped for leadership in the financial industry. Philanthropic partnerships such as this one play a critical role in sustaining that legacy while expanding access to its transformative educational experience.
Through its sustained support, Squarepoint Foundation is not only investing in individual students but also in the future of the field鈥攈elping to ensure that talent, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive.
