Neurodiverse Alliance

To become a member of the Neurodiverse Alliance employee resource group, please submit a so you can be informed of upcoming meetings and events. There is no cost associated with membership and no time commitments. Members can attend as many meetings and events as they would like. Individual membership in ERGs is strictly voluntary and open to all employees who are interested in joining, regardless of identity. Refer to the ERG benefits and guidelines for more information.

What Is Neurodiversity?

"Neurodiversity" is a word used to explain the unique ways people's brains work. While everyone's brain develops similarly, no two brains function just alike. Being neurodivergent means having a brain that works differently from the average or "neurotypical" person.

Leadership

Angelica Bondy, Co-Lead

Angelica Bondy is the program coordinator of the master's degree programs in computational biology at the School of Computer Science. With an MFA in creative non-fiction, she brings a strong foundation in communication, empathy and storytelling to her work. Outside of her role, Angelica is an active member of the local arts community, moonlighting as a stage manager for community theater. She also enjoys being a part of book clubs, writing groups, and hosting thoughtful, gentle conversations about important things. As a co-lead of the Neurodiverse Alliance, she is deeply committed to fostering a culture where all voices are heard, valued and supported.

Kris Ennis, Co-Lead

Kris Ennis (they/them) serves as the executive assistant to the CIO and Deputy CIO within Computing Services, joining ÌÇÐÄVlogÊÓƵ in April 2025. Prior to CMU, Kris built a versatile professional background working primarily in tech startups and the legal sector. They are also a former Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) scholar and are fluent in German. Throughout various areas of their life, Kris has maintained a deep commitment to working with and developing neurodivergent communities, focusing on building spaces where folks with their shared experiences can feel supported and valued.

Outside of work, Kris is an avid reader, writer and poet. They also embrace a love for all things "nerdy," frequently spending their free time playing video games, running Dungeons & Dragons campaigns and practicing HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts).

Lina Crowe, Member Liaison

Angelina (Lina) R. Crowe is the metadata specialist in digitization at Hunt Library. Lina's work at ÌÇÐÄVlogÊÓƵ began in 2007 as a student library worker, eventually returning in 2013 to pursue a full-time career. A dedicated advocate for campus inclusivity, they co-led the LGBTQIA+ Alliance from 2023 to 2025. Currently, Lina focuses on fostering a supportive and safe environment for the CMU community through their involvement with the Neurodiverse Alliance. Outside of their professional commitments, Lina enjoys shiny things, Star Wars, traveling and hiking.
